Following the announcement about the extended Sydney lockdown, we will now host UX Australia 2021 fully online.

We are disappointed and sad that we will not get to connect with you in person, and to provide that networking-casual-coffee-mingling kind of event that we all miss. We really held out optimistically.

Not to worry though, we were prepared for this, and plan to put on a stellar event! We’re online conference veterans (our 2020 events and Design Research 2021 were all online), so get your best lounging outfits ready and prepare to engage with your UX peers in virtual comfort.

How it will run

The conference will be hosted live via Zoom webinar. As planned, it will also be recorded and made available to all attendees post-event. The online format means we have people joining in from all around the world, and we plan to have heaps of virtual activities for you to connect with each other. 

Workshops were already online, and there’s still room in some of them. Tickets can be purchased separately - you don’t have to be a full event ticket holder to attend.

We appreciate your optimism too and we’re sorry not to be seeing you in person for a coffee and a chat next month. We are already working on processing your refund, but if you have any concerns, contact us.

Get conference updates and news

If you already have your full conference ticket, nothing has really changed and thank you for your support. Keep an eye on your email as we start to announce all the fun online content we have planned. You can also join the UXA Slack community to get a jump on all the great conversation.
