As designers we are sometimes called upon to make significant decisions or trade-offs, and we can find ourselves managing a diverse set of opinions and stakeholders.
We want these interactions to be underpinned by balanced and purposeful thinking - in comes wisdom!
Good news! We don’t have to wait until we are old and grey to access wisdom; it can be experienced through ways of thinking and acting. In this workshop we will explore what wisdom is made up of (according to research )and how we as designers can use aspects of wisdom now.
We’ll be applying wise thinking to some of the challenges we are facing. Come along and leave wiser!
This meetup is for designers of all levels interested in understanding their current role and position within the design industry. It is open to all those who identify as women working in design.
