August meetup hosted by Great Question

Registration for this meetup has closed. You can read a summary of the meetup here.

Hosted by Zoe Rose from Great Question, this meetup is all about inclusive design!

All designers know that embracing constraints leads to better products and services.

Practitioners of inclusive design also know that embracing the constraints that are part of disability leads to better products and services, not just for disabled people, but for everybody.

In this workshop, we will explore the three aspects of inclusive design:

  1. Recognising exclusion
  2. Learning from diversity
  3. Solve for one, extend to many

To explore 'solve for one, extend to many' in a practical way, we will explore the challenges faced by a disabled person with a physical disability (using video footage).

This is a hands-on workshop, where you'll have lots of opportunities to talk to and learn from fellow design enthusiasts.

This meetup is for all those who identify as women in design. Feel free to bring along a drink of choice and share the meetup amongst your network!

Registrants will receive a confirmation email from Zoom.
