Design Leadership 2020 is a two-day event exploring the issues, methods, philosophies and strategies of Design Leadership in Australia and abroad.

This conference is a two-day event dedicated to design leadership - looking at the issues facing design leaders at all levels, from career development to team dynamics, fostering creativity, collaboration, cooperation and stakeholder engagement; making the case for Design, and making an impact.
This event includes a half-day Leadership Summit on May 13 and a one-day presentation program on May 14. Tickets to each day are sold separately. A schedule outlining the program for the two days will be released closer to the event.
The half-day forum will involve a facilitated conversation, discussion, and workshop-like activities to discuss how leaders are managing the changes faced by the COVID-19 epidemic. All attendees will contribute to the conversation that will be designed by a facilitator, hosted through a Zoom Meeting with breakout rooms.
The full-day conference will include 13 presentations from 16 speakers around the globe, highlighting relevant topics such as the challenges and solutions leaders are facing in the current crises and how to manage teams remotely, to name a few. The conference will be hosted through a Zoom Webinar.
The conference will be focused on the Australian design leadership community, with presentations by local and overseas speakers and opportunities to share experiences with each other.
The event targets all designers hoping to take a more proactive role in furthering the design practice within their organisation.
