Covid Safety

UX Events are committed to providing attendees with a safe event experience at Design Leadership 2022.

The hybrid event will go ahead according to the NSW Government’s COVID-19 restrictions at the time. 

We have a detailed COVID-Safe plan to ensure the safety of all attendees onsite. Please follow the instructions of the event team, venue staff and volunteers to ensure the safety of you and others.

Vaccination:

All attendees are required to show their up-to-date vaccination or medical exemption certificate on arrival. 

Hygiene:

Wash and sanitize your hands regularly. There will be plenty of sanitisation stations available.

Social Distancing:

Social distancing rules are in place at the ivy Sunroom, take note of the guidelines signed around the venue. We encourage you to wear a mask when social distancing is difficult. 

Do not attend if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, feel unwell or test positive for COVID-19. Watch the conference remotely from the comfort of your home.

If you can no longer attend in person, you cannot pass your ticket along to someone else nor do you need to notify us that you will no longer be in-person. 

Help reduce the spread of COVID-19 by staying up to date with the latest information. 

 

DL2022 COVID Safe Plan

Covid safe measures:

  • Design Leadership 2022 complies with the NSW Government’s COVID-19 restrictions at the time. 
  • Sanitisation and mask stations are available onsite. 
  • Capacity guidelines are signed in the venue and encouraged via a spacious area. 
  • Adapting systems and processes including registrations, catering and crowd flow
  • Traffic-light colour-coded “touch” system 
  • All attendees are required to show their up-to-date vaccination or medical exemption certificate on arrival. 

How attendees can help:

  • Practice social distancing onsite, wear a mask when social distancing is hard.
  • Wash and sanitize hands regularly
  • Notify your level of social comfort via the Traffic Light sticker system

Any attendee who is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms feels unwell or tests positive for COVID-19 will be rejected into the conference area. 

We encourage unwell attendees to watch the conference remotely from the comfort of their home.
