About

What UXA is all about and who it’s for

We’re so proud to be in our 14th year of UX Australia.

Since first running the conference, we have been host to hundreds of amazing speakers from all over the world, and joined by thousands of talented and enthusiastic attendees.

Each year we strive to make the conference inclusive of the ever-expanding user experience profession, and so we welcome contributions from service designers, researchers, content specialists, design ops and design engineering experts, as well as project and people leaders, and more.

We’re planning a rich and diverse event program for 2022, encompassing all areas of design and UX practice.

Speakers and workshop facilitators

At our conference, we try to provide a place for experienced speakers and new presenters to share their ideas and work. Talks and workshops are selected by a committee from a pool of submissions. Calls for proposals open on 01 February and close on 01 April 2022.

How we run the conference

COVID-19 forced us to start running everything online. This was daunting at first, but now we are thrilled to be able to include people from all over the world in the event, without anyone needing to go anywhere. That’s why we still run the conference live and online.

2022 will be our first hybrid style event, hosting live in Melbourne and broadcasting online via Zoom webinar. Attendees and speakers can decide to join in-person or online. Learn more about event delivery and location. Check out the UXA2022 COVID safety measures
