Conference Ticket - March 15 & 16

A General Admissions conference ticket gives you access to the two-day conference in March. This includes networking drinks and the post-conference webinar recording. Workshop tickets are sold separately.

In-person Conference Tickets: 

In-person tickets are limited and are subject to selling out. Please read our COVID safety measures before purchasing an in-person ticket.

  • Early Bird In-person Conference Tickets: $650. 
    On sale until 11:59 pm 31 December 2022.
  • General Admission In-person Conference Tickets: $725. 
    On sale until 13 March 2023 or until sold out.

Online Conference Tickets:

There is only one type of online ticket available - a virtual conference pass. A virtual conference pass gives you full online access to watch the entire conference live and the webinar recording post-event.
Online tickets are unlimited.  

  • Virtual Conference Pass: $550
     

Workshop Ticket - March 14  ​

Select from two workshop options to get hands-on and learn new design research skills. Workshops are half-day each and sold separately. Tickets are limited. 

  • Workshop Tickets: $345
  • All workshops are held IN-PERSON 
  • Workshop 1 takes place from 9 am - 1 pm. 
  • Workshop 2 takes place from 1:30 - 5:30 pm. 
  • Tickets are available until March 10 or until sold out

Ticket information

  • Conference and workshop tickets are sold separately
  • A conference ticket does not give you access to the workshop/s; similarly, a workshop ticket does not give you access to the conference. 
  • All in-person tickets are limited and subject to venue capacity. 
  • Please read our COVID safety measures before purchasing an in-person ticket.  
  • We do not offer sponsorships for international attendees

Changing ticket types

Remember to carefully select the right ticket for the attendance type you want. You can request to change an online ticket to an in-person ticket, but we may not be able to accommodate your request if all in-person tickets are sold. 

Ticket pricing

  • All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST 
  • Our prices have increased. In 2023 we're increasing our ticket prices to reflect the increasing cost of hybrid events, including venue, AV, speaker and material expenses.
  • Refunds can only be issued up to 14 days before the event 
  • Discounts cannot be offered for not-for-profits, charities or organisations sending more than one attendee. Instead, we try to keep our pricing as low as possible for everyone, especially those who are self-funding their ticket. 

Business and Corporate Ticketing

Attendees are welcome to register and pay on invoice through their organisation. However, paying for tickets this way has some conditions. 

  • Invoices must be registered via the ticketing platform Eventbrite. After registering attendee details, select the 'pay by invoice' method at checkout.
  • The invoice must be paid within 14 days, or 14 days before the event commences (whichever comes first) 
  • Late payment will result in ticket cancellation. We will notify you first and give you a chance to pay. 
  • Invoices can only be accepted as a payment method up to 14 days before the event.
  • Tickets can be transferred to other people or converted to in-person tickets (provided there are places available) but you must make change requests in writing no later than 14 days before the event start date. 
  • You must notify us of any ticket changes or cancellations at least 14 days before the event.
