Reflecting on UX Australia’s 2021 event year

Thanks to the phenomenal support of the global UX design community, including speakers and event participants, you have all made it a great year for UX Australia. 

It’s been both a blessing and a curse to host events exclusively online throughout 2021. On one hand it makes events more accessible to more people from anywhere. On the other hand, it limits our interactions as a community and leaves us wanting more connection.

Despite circumstances keeping us out of the same room, we hosted 12 events:

700 attendees, 12 countries, 22 sponsors, 72 speakers, 1000s of ideas

Your support has made an impact 

We’re so proud to have been joined by so many talented, wonderful professionals who shared their knowledge and experience at UXA events. They have contributed so much to the growth and evolution of the global UX community. We thank every one of them.

A huge thanks to our hands-on supporter and Women in UX champion Mags Hanley. Your genuine care and support for individuals to grow and succeed in the profession is valued and appreciated.
