Claim Your Power by Pulling Your Head Out of the Pixels
One burning Design question rises to the top from the thousands I’ve heard while working in the Silicon Valley Tech industry for over two decades: Where is our power? It was endlessly echoed during meetings, conferences, and discussions from the beginning to the end of my own UX career.
Sadly, I’m still hearing it today while I coach the next generation of Design leaders. After moving up into broader leadership roles, I now know why Design frequently does not have a seat at the table. But, more importantly, I will share my story of earning that seat and how all Design Leaders can claim their power.
