We want to make sure that our UX Australia annual conference is open to everyone, but we know that conferences can be out of reach for some people. That’s why we started UX Australia Sponsor a Ticket.
Together with our event sponsors and UX community, we aim to broaden the perspectives at our events, and open up the conference to a wide range of lived experiences, challenges and ideas.
How it works
Individuals, companies and our UX Australia sponsors can purchase extra tickets and donate them to someone as a sponsored ticket. Simply purchase a special ‘Sponsor a Ticket’ ticket type through Eventbrite at UX Australia 2022.
UX Australia 2022 sponsored tickets are $750 each. They are only valid for online attendance to the conference presentation days, August 25 & 26.

When a ticket becomes available, we will allocate it to an eligible applicant.
Who can apply?
Anyone who meets one or more of the following criteria can apply.
- You are an indigenous person
- You have a disability
- You have lost your source of income
- You are experiencing financial hardship
- Another way you are experiencing inequity

Applications have now closed.
While we want everyone who applies to get a sponsored ticket, we can’t guarantee that everyone will. This may be because there are not enough sponsored tickets or the eligibility criteria is not met.
Applications close at 11:59 pm 10 July 2022. Successful applicants will be notified by 01 August.
