Get ready for Design Research 2022

We’re so excited to announce Design Research 2022 is scheduled for 16 to 18 March and early bird tickets are on sale already.

The conference is being planned for online delivery - but we hope to be able to run some events in-person if COVID restrictions and requirements allow.

Design Research attracts a diverse audience with a wide skill set and you will hear from talented practitioners from all over the globe.

  • 16 March—Workshop day. Learn practical skills from highly experienced researchers.
  • 17 & 18 March—Presentation days. Two days of engaging talks from design research experts sharing research methodologies, inclusive practices, case studies, success stories and more.

Topics

Design Research 2022 aims to explore the application of research techniques in various conditions and with diverse groups, covering topics such as research operations, how to position research within product and service teams, how to make research outcomes actionable, and more.

Call for proposals

We’re currently seeking proposals for both talk and workshops. If you've been sitting on a topic idea, or you have a technique, case study or skill to share, now is the time to shape it into something practical and audience-friendly.

  • Submissions close at midnight on 21 November
  • You can submit multiple proposals
  • We'll get back to you with an answer by mid-December
  • Plan the workshop for online delivery

We encourage submissions from design and UX researchers with a range of experience and specialisations, and hope to see proposals from both new and seasoned facilitators.
