Stephen McKernon

Stephen has been helping services improve & evolve since the late 1980s, first as a consumer services researcher and then as a service designer. He founded award-winning service design company Supplejack in 2004.

As well as running Supplejack, Stephen is also a lecturer in Service & Experience Design and in Design Futures at Auckland University of Technology (AUT).

Stephen has worked with Waitemata and Auckland DHBs on service design projects in cancer, advanced care planning, and with the DHB won a number of awards for this work. He has more recently worked with Auckland Council, NZCU South, Waikato Institute of Technology (Wintec), and the Sustainable Business Network. He has also worked with clients in the finance, retail, and housing sectors.
