Foster collaboration by running more effective stakeholder workshops

Half day workshop, Wednesday August 29 (morning).

Stakeholder workshops are one of the most useful techniques to foster collaboration between different teams, build empathy, create a shared vision and generate innovative ideas.
But preparing and facilitating your first stakeholder workshop can be a daunting task: What activities should I include? What do I do if one participant tries to dominate or derail the session? How do I avoid group thinking?
This half-day workshop will give you skills to prepare and facilitate more effective collaboration sessions: select the right activities for different types of workshops (research, ideation, co-design or feedback sessions), prepare the script and the materials needed and overcome common facilitation challenges.
Hands-on activities, real examples and free tools and resources will be used throughout the workshop.

What you’ll learn:

  • Different types of UX workshops and what they are most useful for
  • The role of stakeholder workshops at different stages of the design process
  • How to prepare stakeholder workshops: objectives, participants, activities, duration, breaks…
  • Common challenges and tips for facilitating more effective stakeholder workshops
