Steve Baty
Steve Baty is a User Experience strategist with over a decade of commercial experience in the e-business arena. Steve holds two Masters degrees (eCommerce and MBA) and a Bachelors degree in Mathematics.
During his career Steve has worked with major Australian and international brands on the strategy and design of their online presence. Past and present clients include Qantas, Telstra, oneworld Alliance, YHA Australia, Harvey World Travel, Panasonic Australia, Maersk Line, youship, NSW Department of Education & Training, Department for the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts, FujiXerox, and the Australian Museum.
Steve is the founder and principal of Meld Consulting, a specialist UX consultancy based in Sydney, Australia. He is a member of the IA Institute, and serves as a Director on the Board of the Interaction Design Association (IxDA); and a contributor to UX Matters and Johnny Holland. Most recently, Steve has founded the UX Book Club: a community-based initiative bringing together people in over 60 cities around the world to read and discuss books on the theory and practice of UX design.
