Simon Tobias

Through the practice of human-centred design, Simon connects the needs of business with those of their customers. He understands the role visual storytelling can play in communicating ideas, and as Principal, is hands-on across streams to ensure alignment. 

Over the last 20 years he has led innovation initiatives for many of the world’s leading organisations including: NHS, Bupa Health, the Australian Federal Government, Deutsche Bank, Barclays Wealth, AMP, Fidelity International, HSBC, Barclays Capital, BPay and QSuper.

Framed within the context of significant customer, market, organisational and technological change, Simon has acquired a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing modern businesses.

In this workshop, Simon will articulate the business value of Visual Communication throughout the design process, drawing from past examples and techniques.
