You Can Prototype Anything!
Tickets to the half-day workshop are on sale now via Humanitix.
Prototyping is usually framed as testing: the process of validating whether or not your ideas work for your audiences.
Yet prototyping can offer so much more. It’s an opportunity to learn - to deepen what you know about your audience and their context. Prototypes are another research tool allowing us to experience audience behaviour and preferences we might not otherwise have known. Prototyping also allows us the opportunity to generate new ideas with our audiences in the moment.
Considering all that you can learn, we should be prototyping everything. And you can prototype anything - conversations, experiences, things, futures. It’s a whole load of fun and doesn’t have to break the budget.
In this session you'll learn:
- how to use prototyping in ‘discovery’ research
- many different ways to prototype the same thing, and you'll try out some of them
- how to get great feedback (as in, feedback that helps you build a better product or service; not just people saying "this is great")
- a way to consider the feasibility and viability of your ideas through prototypes
- walk away with some ideas about how to apply this to your role.
This workshop will run online on Thursday, August 27th from 1:00 - 5:30 pm.
