Simon Wong
Simon is the Customer Experience Improvement Digital Lead at the City of Boroondara, a council serving over 170,000 residents in inner Melbourne. His love of learning has resulted in a diverse career, from counting kangaroo poo in the Strathbogie Ranges to designing tram stops in the Melbourne CBD. He previously held strategic policy and project management roles at the Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet, Department of Transport and Public Transport Victoria, before undertaking a Master’s of Information Systems and Innovation at the London School of Economics. Delving into theories of socio-technical development of information systems and organisational dynamics has served him well in his current role helping to drive an organisation wide customer experience and digital transformation program at the City of Boroondara.
