Designing for Mobility 2014

The digital ecosystem of the last decade revolved around the computer as the hub; cameras, MP3 players, and mobile phones would all sync to your PC, where you would manage their content. Many services have now moved to the cloud, and while data can be synchronised across all computing devices, a new breed of device is becoming popular that doesn’t have the same capability and connectivity. Smart devices, like wearable fitness trackers tend to use mobile devices for configuration and connectivity instead of PCs.

This talk explores the user experience of mobile mediated ‘service + smart objects’.
