Mobility has exploded in the consumer space, and this has forced companies to respond, delivering mobile apps, or responsive web designed website.
Hidden within organisations, an equally large sea change is occurring. Bring your own device (BYOD) policies are being forced on IT by staff whose personal phones and tablets are better than corporately provided devices.
Alongside this, there is a growing recognition of the need to allow ‘anywhere’ productivity for staff. At a minimum, this means providing fundamentals to phones, such as rich staff directories, news and key information.
Leading organisations are already moving rapidly beyond this, delivering core business systems and tools to their mobile workforce.
