Jake Causby
Jake is a senior UX designer, originating from a graphic design background. He has significant experience designing websites and software since leaving university in 1995 and has worked in a range of different industries at both enterprise and startup levels. Through good design, product strategy, customer research and organisational culture change, he’s excited about enabling businesses to realise their full potential through the use of new technology, processes and solutions.
Jake likes to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to understand business requirements and constraints. A strong advocate of Lean and Agile methodologies, he solves problems iteratively within multi-disciplinary teams using ideas from within the team, customer research insights, validating assumptions and prioritising outcomes over output. A key part of his approach is ensuring the people he works with understand that user experience is an outcome, not a role – it’s everyone’s responsibility.
