Ruth Mirams

Ruth is internationally recognised for her co-design, research, project management skills, incorporating system thinking and analytical skills across sectors. Within the PIC Innovation and Markets team, Ruth is responsible for research methodology development, workshop facilitation and community co-design, particularly with public sector clients.

As a designer, Ruth brings a unique blend of research rigor, creativity, energy and Indigenous design methodologies to rapidly achieve tangible outcomes. She is commended for her ability to inspire change through co-design on difficult topics, and for a focus on practical prototyping in the public sector.

As a project manager, Ruth rapidly engage stakeholders from diverse backgrounds in the co-creation process. She ensures outcomes are agreed upon, and drives for creative and productive results. She is a natural network builder, and is influential in networks as diverse as the World Indigenous Network and the largest public sector service design community in the world, Global GovJam. Prior to joining PIC, her professional experience spans the research, university, government, start up and commercial sectors.
