Rosie McAlister
Based in Melbourne, I specialise in Digital Design and Development across both freelance, permanent and contract roles. I come from a strong management and HR background and have been working in this particular space for the past two and a half years.
I pride myself on constantly growing my knowledge of the Design and Development space and am heavily involved in the various community meet-ups, conferences (such as UX Australia) and university open days. I have been a speaker at a number of events not only about how to improve your own resume and self-presentation, but also about empowering women in the industry.
I believe it’s essential to build a strong partnership with my clients and talent in order to take them on an informed journey throughout the recruitment process.
I’m an avid advocate for equality and diversity, not only in the workplace, but in my personal life as well.
Outside of the office you’ll find me adventuring about with my rescue greyhound, with a ridiculously fancy Melbourne coffee in one hand. My home is filled with my ever-growing (pun intended) empire of indoor plants, my burgeoning record collection and my unique op-shop finds.
