Rory Horne
Rory is a user experience analyst and researcher at Trimble Navigation Limited, where he focuses on technology used in earth moving and heavy civil construction. He comes from a background in mechanical engineering and psychology where he completed a master’s thesis in the usability of a powered wheelchair control.
He is passionate about understanding how people interact with the world around them and using this knowledge as the basis for helping to create products that suit people as well as purpose.
Rory is inspired by the idea that something functional can also be elegant and a pleasure to use.
