Kate Goodwin

Kate has been putting pencil to paper to solve design problems and make things easier for people to use since the early 2000’s when she studied Multimedia Design and started her own design business while simultaneously dabbling in the dark arts of Macromedia Director.Since then she’s completed a Master of Science in Information Systems and has served in product management, user experience consultancy and service design leadership roles within various sectors including higher education, government,consumer banking and social enterprise. 
 
Kate has spoken at UX,postgraduate study, and social design events, and enjoys sharing her insights into the nuts and bolts of UX through workshops and collaboration. 
 
She is currently a service design lead for the NSW Department of Justice’s four-year Audio Visual Links project,working amongst a multi disciplinary team of designers, researchers, developers,and justice service owners.
