Timothy Gaweco
Tim is a Senior UX Researcher at Shopify based in Toronto. He works on the Retail team and focuses on understanding the landscape of brick and mortar retail to inform the merchant experience with our point of sale (POS) and retail hardware. He’s worked on a variety of projects spanning the digital and in-person experience of selling and buying. Prior to Shopify, Tim worked as the first researcher at consumer startups Wattpad (http://wattpad.com) and 500px (http://500px.com) with millions of active users in the writing and photography community. Tim received his Bachelor’s in Applied Science in Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto.
