Women in UX 2020

In 2020, UX Australia, along with Mags Hanley, will run a series of workshops to grow the number of women speakers, increasing diversity, and ensuring new voices and ideas are heard at UX Australia's conferences.

These hands-on workshops will be presented in both Melbourne and Sydney, the first being a half-day workshop in Melbourne on Tuesday, February 18. Our Sydney Workshop will be run on Thursday, February 20. 

The workshops will focus on:

• Creating proposals

• Writing presentations

• Practising presentations

Together we will:

• Generate ideas and topics, working out which ideas have the potential to become talks

• Write two abstracts from the ideas

• Create one proposal including peer review, iteration, and copy editing it so it is ready for submission
