Alexandra is an exceptional human-centred designer with many years experience in both the public and private sectors. Having spent most of her design career working in house, Alexandra knows how to translate design for a business context; and how to inspire and support those taking their first uncomfortable steps on this road.
She was a founding member of the Customer Experience Design team at NAB, improving the user experience of banking and building design capability within the organisation. More recently she led a team of human-centred designers in the Product Development & Innovation team at Public Transport Victoria. This role introduced the concept of human-centred design to the organisation, working with transport planners and engineers to improve Victoria’s train, tram and bus network.
Since joining Meld Studios Alexandra has worked on projects for local, state and federal government including this foray back into the the transport industry.
Alexandra is driven by a desire to make change for people. She specialises in making design accessible to large organisations so they find it easier to get close to their customers, and so create better experiences.
