Andrew is a Research Fellow in Writing Analytics with the Connected Intelligence Centre (CIC) at University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Andrew's primary project involves the design and development of the realtime provision of computationally generated feedback to students in order to help them improve their writing, and in particular reflective writing. This work involves working across technology and educational domains and holds particular relevance to the developing field of Learning Analytics in which users are typically learners and/or teachers. Andrew has wider interests in the way the human and computer worlds interact and in how humans create meaning from computational output. Much of his work involves the design and development of computational approaches to improving learning for students at UTS.
