The main conference fee covers the 2 days of conference (10-11 August), including tea and coffee on arrival, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and wireless internet.

Hands-on workshops are held on 8-9 August and are charged separately so you can choose the best content for you. Hands-on workshops are not included in the main conference fee.

For groups

We do not offer discounts for organisations sending more than one attendee.

For not-for-profits

We do not offer discounts for not-for-profits. Instead we try to keep our pricing as low as possible for everyone - many of our attendees self-fund, work for small businesses or unfunded startups. If you compare our pricing to similar conferences you'll see that we are a lot cheaper, but still manage to pay our speakers and offer excellent quality.

Paying on invoice

UX Australia usually sells out well ahead of the conference. We also let people book and pay on invoice – to let you get the paperwork and payment through your organisation.

This has led to a situation where people book tickets ‘just in case’, don’t pay, ignore requests, then cancel at the last minute. This is annoying for us as it can be hard to re-sell the ticket a couple of days before the conference; and is unfair to people who really want to come.

As such, if you have not paid within 30 days, we will contact you once and give you 2 days to pay. If it remains unpaid, we will cancel it. If tickets are still available, you can re-register when you are ready to pay.
