Lada Gorlenko

Lada has practiced UX for two decades in many contexts, from cross-cultural training to software development. As a UX Consultant at IBM, she helped several British government agencies define their first digital strategies. As a Research Manager of Microsoft Lync (now Skype for Business), Lada was in charge of providing user insights to shape multiple releases of MS Office. Now a Research Director at Artefact, Lada delivers industry and research insights to many Artefact clients, big and small.

Lada is an experienced trainer and a passionate mentor. She ran many training courses for IBM and Microsoft UX practitioners worldwide and helped establish internal professional development avenues in both places. She is also a Founding Director of IxDA, the Interaction Design Association.
