I’m a design leader and entrepreneur with 20+ years in applying structured creative processes to help people in startups and established commercial and social enterprise to:

  • Increase empathy and understanding of your customers
  • Focus on what they value
  • Determine the best way to deliver it
  • And develop the capability to keep doing that

Most recently, I was design director for Westpac Live – Westpac’s flagship digital customer relationship touchpoint. Westpac Live is used by over 3.5 million personal and business customers daily. It has been recognised as a market-leading service design, winning a Good Design Award, amongst others.

I am also an advisor and organisational mentor to organisations in the social sector (eg, The School For Social Entrepreneurs) and startups, helping them to develop their customer experience design and execution capabilities. As Design Director at Value Machine, I work with Australian organisations with a strong social purpose to identify and deliver sustainable social value.
