Rami Banna

Rami is a Principal Systems Engineer and Project Manager on new products at Cochlear. His focus is cross-disciplinary engineering challenges between Mechanical, Electronic, Software, Firmware and User Experience development.

He has a background in microelectronics and telecommunications, previously working with Lucent Microelectronics in the development of microchips enabling mobile phone broadband internet; Alcatel working in industry-first ADSL technologies; and Telstra in deploying CDMA cellular networks to rural and regional Australia. In 2002 he co-founded Virtual Buttonz, a start-up company developing unique human interface technologies.
