Richard Beaumont

Richard Beaumont worked from Head of Design to Global Format Director for Tesco internationally for 11 years creating and setting up new formats, department designs and teams within mature businesses requiring re-invention to new start ups. He has experience operating within UK, Ireland, Czech & Slovak Republics, Hungary, Poland, Turkey, Taiwan, Thailand, Korea, Malaysia as well as extensive competitor experience in USA, mainland Europe and Australia in stores ranging from 35 sq.m to 160,000s.m.

In early 2007 he was headhunted to be the General Manager of Design & format Development Coles responsible for delivering the highly successul new look ‘Renewal’ stores now landed in 60 locations and being rolled out en masse in FY11 as well as delivering design concepts for First Choice, Liquorland and Coles Express brands that have now been collectively rolled out to over 800 locations.

He is a specialist in helping organisations define their proposition and format strategy then ensuring this gets followed through into actual action delivering on all parts of the proposition with particular emphasis on store design.
