In context: Designing for multi-targeted experiences

A lot of today’s digital and product experiences have several touch points in which to reach individuals: web, widget, mobile applications, device optimized experiences, physical space experiences, etc. These divergent touch-points comprise a multi-targeted experience. Designing the experience for each channel is not enough anymore. In order to create a fluid and cohesive experience, we need step back, capture and coordinate the interactions between the different media channels.

In this session, we will examine the set of tools available for cross-channel design while focusing on Hyperwireframe and Experience Map as a holistic visual representation of the overall user experience across locations, time and channels. Additionally, we will be showcasing a survey of models that may be applied successfully to different situations.
