Workshop proposal submissions are open from February 1 to March 23, 11:59 pm AEDT.
Hands-on workshops are for learning practical skills or exploring a topic in detail. Active audience participation is a core part of the workshop.
We're looking for a mix of workshops appropriate for people new to UX, midweight practitioners, and/or experienced UX professionals - deep dives into emerging techniques, new perspectives, and best practice for User Experience.
Workshop proposals should include the following information:
Draft title – what you would call this workshop in the program
Length - full or half day
Explanation – who is your target group, what will they learn, what kind of activities will you lead, what kind of setup would you need, how many participants could you take – explain your idea, sell it to us.
Led this before? - please explain when and where, and if you’re planning any changes of the content or format of the workshop.
Draft workshop description – 2-3 sentences, tops. This is the description we’ll use on the website if your workshop is selected.
Why is this a hands-on workshop instead of a conference talk?
A little about yourself - why you?
