Designing Better Organisations
In the aftermath of the organisational implications of the Hayne Royal Commission and as we build back from COVID-19, there is an opportunity to raise the object of our design work from human-centred service design to the design of better, more human-centred organisations.
In this talk I will discuss:
1) The opportunity and need for human-centred designers to raise their focus from the design of human-centred services to higher order organisational design challenges.
2) Emergent trends and opportunities around organisational culture and purpose.
3) Practical activities and pathways for designers to gain traction and operate within this higher order.
